What this website does today
- Pages use semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard-operable navigation, and visible focus indicators.
- Text and interface colors are chosen for sufficient contrast.
- Meaningful graphics have text alternatives, and motion is reduced when your device requests it.
Our commitment
We design and review dawnsheart.org against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. A review of the launch build was completed on October 6, 2026. This page does not claim a third-party certification or a complete VPAT.
What is in place
- A skip link to the main content
- A page language of English, and one main heading on each page
- Headings, landmarks, and labels that describe the page structure
- Keyboard use for navigation, the mobile menu, and, when forms open, form controls
- Visible focus outlines, and space so a focused control is not hidden under the sticky header
- Text alternatives for meaningful graphics, and empty alternatives for decoration
- Reduced motion when your device requests it
- Status labels that include words, not color alone
Known limits on this launch build
Contact, volunteer, partner, mentor, Heart Kits, and gratitude forms are labeled as previews. Their fields are disabled on purpose and cannot be completed yet. Write to hello@dawnsheart.org instead.
No live donation flow is connected, so there is no payment form to complete on this site.
Reporting a barrier
If something on this website is hard to use, write to hello@dawnsheart.org and describe the page and the problem. We will work to fix it.
This page will be updated if the website’s actual practice changes.
