Who receives a gift

Donations designated for Dawn’s Heart are received and administered by Cure on Wheels, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Dawn’s Heart does not have a separate donation account.

What this website collects

dawnsheart.org does not collect card numbers, bank information, or an online gift. If you email to request mail-in instructions, we receive the address you write from and whatever you include in the message. Do not send card or bank details by email.

When a Cure on Wheels giving page is approved and linked here, that page and its provider will collect whatever they need to complete the gift. Their notices will apply to that transaction.

Mail-in gifts

Checks are made payable to Cure on Wheels, Inc., with Dawn’s Heart on the memo line, and mailed using the address Cure on Wheels provides. Cure on Wheels receives and administers those gifts. A check may include the name and address you write on it.

How donor information will be used

Donor information is used to process and acknowledge a gift, keep required records, and send updates a donor has chosen to receive. That includes information Cure on Wheels receives from a mailed check. Dawn’s Heart does not sell donor lists or share donor information for an unrelated organization’s marketing.
