Fill the Truck

Fill the Pantry. Feed Our Community.

A repeatable community collection and fundraising platform that benefits established organizations addressing food insecurity and related immediate needs.

One visible way to act together

A truck, a community, and a clear goal

Fill the Truck gives businesses, churches, neighborhoods, civic groups, and local events one visible way to act together for neighbors facing food insecurity and other immediate needs. The help goes to established organizations already doing that work.

How a campaign works

A repeatable model

Every Fill the Truck campaign follows the same five parts, so it can be adapted for communities and seasons throughout the year.

  1. Public invitation

Bring food or give money through a clear, partner-approved campaign.

  2. Beneficiary

A qualified community partner, selected with Cure on Wheels oversight and confirmed before any promotion.

  3. Collection

An item list, a secure handling plan, volunteer roles, and documented delivery.

  4. Fundraising

Donations received through Cure on Wheels and designated for the approved Dawn’s Heart campaign.

  5. Reporting

Verified totals only, such as food collected, funds raised, volunteer participation, and partner receipt.

Accountability

What each campaign will report

Totals will be published only after they are verified, including confirmation that the beneficiary received the delivery.

  • Food, essential items, and funds delivered to the beneficiary
  • Volunteer, sponsor, and host participation
  • Campaign cost, net charitable value, and documentation of delivery
  • Repeat participation and expansion to additional community sites

About beneficiaries

No beneficiary organization or host has been confirmed. Organizations will be named here only after they agree in writing to participate.
